What is it about?
If you are staying in Belgium for up to 6 months, you need to apply for a declaration of presence (Annex 3ter).
With an Annex 3ter, you are not registered in the National Register and you will not be domiciled in Belgium. Therefore, you will keep your address abroad.
How to apply for an Annex 3ter?
Step 1
Register online within 10 working days of your arrival.
You will receive a confirmation of your application in your mailbox.
Step 2
After your file has been processed, you will receive your notification of presence via email.
