Op 19 november 2019 was Gent een van de vier gaststeden voor de Circular Economy Hotspot Belgium. Nationale en internationale gasten van verschillende bedrijven, kennisinstellingen en overheden volgden een 'resource recovery' tour van stad en haven. Op het programma stonden een paar van de vele bedrijven en kennisinstellingen die vooraanstaand onderzoek uitvoeren en implementeren rond materialen (plastics, bouwmaterialen, CO2, biomassa), energie, water en mobiliteit. Hieronder een overzicht van alle deelnemende projecten en bedrijven, alsook de gegeven presentaties en contact info.

On the 19th of november 2019 the city of Ghent was one of four guest cities for the Circular Economy Hotspot Belgium. National and international guests from different companies, research institutes and governments followed a 'resource recovery' tour of the city and port. Offered were some of the many companies and research institutes that conduct and implement groundbreaking research on materials (plastics, building materials, CO2, biomass), energy, water and mobility. Below an oversight of all participating projects and companies, as well as the presentations of the day and contact information.
