Registration as a mobility student
Are you a third-country national and will you be coming to Ghent as an exchange student for one semester (e.g. within the context of the Erasmus+ programme)? In that case you need to register as a mobility student. This way you can arrange for your stay in various European Member States during the period of your studies.

Report as a cross-border student
Do you live in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Luxembourg or the United Kingdom, and do you want to keep your domicile in your home country while you are studying in Ghent? In that case, register as a cross-border student and receive an “annex 33” instead of a EU-card.
