FAQ about COVID-19 for international students

Health guidelines and frequently asked questions and answers about studying and living in a student room in times of corona.

General health guidelines

  • Read all about measures at the different campuses, where you can go for mental support and how to keep in touch with fellow students. 
  • Stay home when you are ill, consult with your home doctor.
  • Wash your hands often with water and soap and avoid shaking hands, kissing or hugging.
  • Limit close contacts.
  • Ventilate your student room adequately.
  • Gatherings outside are limited to a maximum of 4 people.
  • Keep a minimum distance of 1.5 metres from other people
  • A curfew is imposed at midnight. No one may leave home between midnight and 5.00 without a valid reason, such as travelling to and from work.
  • Make sure to always have a face mask with you (it is compulsory!). If you are in a public place (station, market, shop, etc.) and unable to keep a distance of 1.5 metres, it is best to wear a face mask.
