Ghent is a city of many festivals!
From the Film Fest Gent to the Festival of Flanders or Gent Jazz Festival, there’s always something to celebrate in Ghent. The high point, of course, is the Ghent Festivities (Gentse Feesten). Ten days of fun, culture and performances. Where else would you find such a popular outpouring in a one-thousand-year-old historical centre? It should come as no surprise to learn that over 1 million festivalgoers come to these celebrations every year. Admission is free for a lot of activities.
